Zoom Uphill (All-Terrain Electric Wheelchair)
Description
The Zoom (also known as the Zoom Uphill) is an electrically powered all-terrain wheelchair featuring a symmetrical permanent four-wheel drive system. It is designed to provide people with limited mobility a high level of freedom of movement not only on paved walkways, but also on challenging terrain such as sand, snow, mud, or forest paths.
Its patented frame design ensures that all four wheels maintain constant contact with the ground, delivering excellent traction and stability across a wide range of surfaces. Thanks to its powerful electric drive and robust four-wheel configuration, the Zoom is capable of handling steep slopes and uneven natural trails while also being easy to maneuver in urban environments.
A key feature of the Zoom is its flexibility and versatility. The speed can be adjusted in three levels depending on user needs: slow (5 km/h), medium (10 km/h), or fast (up to 20 km/h). This allows for safe and controlled use during relaxed outings, as well as higher speeds for dynamic outdoor driving.
Compared to conventional medical mobility scooters or standard electric wheelchairs, which are typically designed for urban use and offer limited traction on loose or uneven ground, the Zoom stands out with its patented all-wheel drive system. This system ensures continuous ground contact on virtually any surface, making it a significant advantage for outdoor activities and accessible access to nature and leisure environments.
The Zoom is registered as a Class I medical device in accordance with MDR (EU) 2017/745 and complies with the European standard EN 12184 for electric wheelchairs.
