The VarioUltra 40 is a high-quality, portable Braille display with 40 Braille cells, specifically designed for blind and visually impaired individuals. This mobile Braille device combines excellent Braille readability with an intuitive 8-dot Braille input keyboard—ideal for use on the go, at work, or in school.
Thanks to multi-device connectivity via Bluetooth, up to four devices can be paired simultaneously—whether it's a PC, iPhone, Android smartphone, Mac, or tablet—and switched between at the press of a button. In addition, a modern USB-C port is available, ensuring fast charging and stable data connections.
The integrated text editor supports Braille shorthand and allows editing of DOCX, PDF, and Excel files directly on the device—even without a connection to a computer. With a built-in file manager, scientific calculator, alarm clock, clock, and stopwatch, the VarioUltra 40 becomes a versatile digital companion. Operation is user-friendly, using cursor routing keys, function keys, and a central navistick for navigating content and menus.
