Description

!Note: Depending on the country of origin and type of impairment, assistive devices of this kind are often financially supported or fully covered by public funding!

The Vario 4 series consists of three compact, lightweight braille displays with 40, 64, or 80 braille cells. They rank among the smallest and most elegant devices of their kind worldwide. Housed in a sturdy aluminum casing, they combine minimalist design, robust construction, and high functionality—making them perfect for both private and professional work environments.

What sets these devices apart is their plug-and-play capability: they function as Human Interface Devices (HID) and require no drivers. The reversible USB-C port allows easy connection in any orientation. Operation is especially user-friendly thanks to six large function keys and cursor-routing keys for each braille cell. The displays focus on the essentials while offering exceptional comfort.

Compared to other models, the Vario 4 series offers an excellent price-performance ratio: compact, powerful, and elegant without compromising on functionality or tactile feedback. Additionally, they impress with very low power consumption — hardly draining a connected laptop’s battery, making a separate power supply usually unnecessary.
