Description
The V‑Drive is an electric push/power assist for manual wheelchairs, designed to extend mobility range and reduce strain on the caregiver while pushing. The electric drive makes it easier to move the wheelchair over longer distances or up inclines. The system is mounted centrally under the wheelchair and features controls on the push handle for easy operation. It is available in two versions: a standard version (up to 135 kg including wheelchair) and an HD version (up to 200 kg including wheelchair).

Application
The V‑Drive is easily mounted to the wheelchair’s push handles without tools and can be attached on either the left or right side.
A throttle and speed control on the push handle allow the caregiver to adjust the level of assistance.
For transport (e.g., in a car), the drive unit can be quickly removed: simply take out the battery and detach the drive.
When assistance is not needed, the drive unit can be lifted off the ground and hung on the handle, allowing the wheelchair to be pushed manually.
