Description
trivida® – the divisible wheelchair wheel is an innovative, barrier-free solution featuring revolutionary triatec® technology, specifically designed for manual wheelchairs. By removing the upper third of the wheel, trivida® allows users to perform independent and safe lateral transfers from the wheelchair to external seating surfaces (e.g., bed, toilet, chair, car seat) and back, without the conventional wheel hump getting in the way.
Its effortless assembly and disassembly in seconds provide greater mobility, safety, independence, and quality of life for wheelchair users, while also reducing physical strain and the risk of injury during transfers. The wheels are available in plastic or carbon versions, come standard with a universally compatible quick-release axle, and include accessories such as matching bushings for various mounting systems. Optional trivida® low-resistance tires are also available for enhanced ride comfort.
