Description

Training with maximum safety

Due to immobility, individuals with spinal cord injuries or hemiplegia frequently experience medical complications. Regular standing training can help prevent or alleviate some of these issues.

The user is held securely and stably thanks to the sophisticated technology, making the training effortless and allowing full freedom of movement in the upper body.
The simple locking mechanism, along with the hip and knee pads, enables independent use after just a short familiarization period.

The table surface is large enough to comfortably read a newspaper on it.

Product details

Target audience
Standing training is an integral part of rehabilitation for individuals with limited or no ability to stand or walk (including those with spinal cord injuries). When applied with proper ergonomic technique, daily standing exercises can make a significant contribution to preventing various long-term and secondary conditions (e.g., prevention of contractures, pressure ulcers, regulation of muscle tone, and cardiovascular stimulation).

It positively affects the heart and circulatory system and can also benefit bone structure, joints, muscles, as well as bladder and bowel function. In addition, it offers the user a change in perspective, which can also support cognitive perception.

Examples
This standing table enables therapeutic standing training for individuals with limited or no standing ability.
Adjusting the fully preassembled standing table to the user's specific needs takes little time but is essential to achieve a physiological standing posture, proper joint alignment, and structural support.
Such precise replication of physiological standing is only partially—or not at all—achievable with many comparable products (e.g., standing trainers, sit-to-stand wheelchairs, tilt tables, etc.).
Naturally, the required adjustments vary depending on body proportions and the type of disability or impairment. For this reason, we do not provide predefined setting values in advance.
A more detailed description of each function can be found in the user manual.
