The SDMotion Trike is a fully electric all-terrain wheelchair with joystick control, designed for use on demanding terrain. The model combines the off-road chassis of the Mountain Trike with the SDMotion electric drive system and was developed for users who want to remain independently mobile even away from paved surfaces.
The power wheelchair features front-wheel drive, wide mountain bike–style tyres with a deep tread pattern, and a stable three-wheel configuration. This makes it suitable for travel on forest paths, gravel, grass, sand, snow, roots, and other uneven natural terrain. Control is provided via a programmable joystick, which can be mounted on either the left or right side depending on user preference.
For comfort and driving safety, the SDMotion Trike is equipped with three RockShox air suspensions, electromagnetic brakes, and additional safety braking systems. The removable lithium-ion battery provides a manufacturer-specified range of up to 30 kilometres. Thanks to quick-release wheels and a foldable footplate, the SDMotion Trike can be compactly folded for transport.
