Description

The Optimus 2 / Optimus 2 RS 2.322 is a robust, electrically powered wheelchair from MEYRA’s e‑Power series, designed for both indoor use and, especially, challenging outdoor environments. It combines a powerful drive, high stability, and a wide range of customization options for people with limited walking ability.

The wheelchair is built on a front-wheel drive with direct steering, which, together with the large tires and independent suspension, provides good traction and stability on various terrains—from smooth pavements to uneven paths and curbs. The R‑Net electronics ensure safe, intuitive control via the joystick module and allow individual programming of driving parameters.

The Optimus 2 version offers different driving speeds (6 km/h, 10 km/h, or optionally up to 15 km/h), meeting the needs of a wide range of users—from comfort-oriented everyday use to more dynamic outdoor driving. The “RS” model (Road/Sport Edition) stands out with higher performance, greater range, and a sportier driving experience.

Thanks to modular seat widths, mechanically or electrically adjustable seat and backrest angles, and optional seating systems such as ErgoSeat, Ergostar, or RECARO, the wheelchair can be individually adapted to the user’s needs and body dimensions. This makes it particularly suitable for users who require both comfort and performance in daily life and on the go—and, compared to standard electric wheelchairs, it offers significant scope for customization and higher performance.
