Description
The NAVIX FWD is a compact power wheelchair with front-wheel drive (FWD), specifically designed for users who want to combine high manoeuvrability indoors with reliable everyday outdoor performance. The front-wheel drive system enables particularly tight turning manoeuvres and makes it easier to overcome obstacles such as door thresholds or small edges. At the same time, the wheelchair remains compact and transport-friendly.
The power wheelchair is suitable for people with permanent mobility impairments or the inability to walk, for example due to paralysis, amputations, joint damage, or neurological conditions. Its modular design allows extensive adjustments to meet individual user needs. Seat height, seat depth, seat width, and other components can be adapted. In addition, flip-up armrests facilitate transfers to beds, cars, toilets, or other seating surfaces.
The NAVIX FWD is powered by two electric motors, each with 220 watts of output. Power is supplied by two 12-volt batteries. With a maximum speed of 6 km/h and a range of up to 20 km, the model is designed for everyday use. Optional features include electric seat and backrest adjustments, electric leg supports, and an electric seat lift with 300 mm travel.
Compared with many larger power wheelchairs, the NAVIX FWD stands out due to its compact construction combined with high adjustability. Its narrow overall width and front-wheel drive provide excellent manoeuvrability in apartments, care facilities, shops, and other confined environments. At the same time, the wheelchair can be disassembled into multiple parts for transport.
