Mobile Friction UDA (wheelchair mount)
Description
The Mobile Friction UDA is a wheelchair mount from the UDAPTION Mobile series. It is designed to securely and ergonomically attach assistive devices such as communication aids, tablets, or other adaptive technology to a wheelchair. With a maximum length of 530 mm, it provides sufficient reach for flexible positioning within the user’s access range.
Its central feature is the centrally positioned toothed joint, which, together with the UDA device mount, provides stable attachment for devices with the corresponding UDA interface. The mount is designed to securely hold adaptive accessories while allowing easily adjustable positioning to support daily use and device operation.
With a maximum load capacity of 3.0 kg, the Mobile Friction UDA is especially suitable for medium-sized devices such as communication tablets, alternative input devices, or compact assistive tools. Its friction-toothed joint mechanism provides robust fixation, offering greater stability against lateral forces compared to simple tube or clamp-lever systems.
The product is delivered without a frame clamp; a suitable frame clamp for wheelchair mounting must be obtained separately. This modular design allows the Mobile Friction UDA to be individually adapted to a wide range of wheelchair types and assistive situations.
