Lomo 360 (towing device)
Description
The Lomo 360 is a mechanical front attachment and towing device for manual wheelchairs that quickly converts them into an all-terrain three-wheeled vehicle. It is attached to the front frame of the wheelchair using a universal clamping system. Once connected, the wheelchair’s front caster wheels are lifted, significantly improving handling on uneven terrain.
The system is specifically designed for use on cobblestones, gravel paths, forest trails, field tracks, and other unpaved surfaces. The Lomo 360 increases stability and enables much easier outdoor mobility compared to a standard manual wheelchair.
Optionally, the system can be equipped with handlebars and a braking system, providing additional control and safety. A remote brake for an accompanying person is also available. The device is furthermore compatible with wheelchairs featuring electrically powered rear wheels.
The Lomo 360 is based on a lightweight and highly adjustable frame with multiple configuration options and is suitable for a wide range of wheelchair frames. Its clamping system is designed for quick installation and removal without requiring permanent modifications to the wheelchair.
