The Hurricane Pro is an active and sports wheelchair with a rigid frame from the MEYRA Active program. It is designed as a cost-effective entry-level sports wheelchair, particularly for wheelchair basketball and other active applications where stability and mobility are essential. The wheelchair is suitable for sports clubs, schools, and organizations that practice or promote wheelchair sports, as well as for users in recreational and amateur sports.
The Hurricane Pro is custom-made and can be adapted to different body sizes and seat dimensions. It features an adjustable seat width, a individually adjustable footplate, and a configurable oversized axle tube for optimal center-of-gravity positioning. Additionally, double anti-tip wheels are included as standard. Its design ensures a lightweight, agile driving experience, excellent stability, and precise control in motion.
The equipment includes, among other things, wheels, push rims, seat and backrest belts, seat cushion, strapping belt, guards, and double anti-tip wheels—all included as standard.
