Gyroset™ vigo drive special wheelchair control system
Description
The GyroSet™ Vigo Drive Kit can be connected as a proportional control to electric wheelchairs with R-Net, DX/DX2, or LINX2 systems. It allows the user to drive the wheelchair proportionally (analog) in all four directions through head movements or to operate other functions such as seat adjustment, Bluetooth mouse, or environmental control.
he GyroSet Vigo Drive Kit consists of a headband with a headset, a small display (GyroSet Cubo), an interface (GyroSet Link) to connect the system to the electric wheelchair, and a head switch.
In drive mode, the wheelchair moves faster in the direction the user tilts their head more. This allows four-axis analog driving even for patients who can only move their head. However, good control of head movements is essential.
