Description

The A08L is the best-selling FreedomChair model. Its large wheels, powerful motors, and impressive climbing ability (up to 25%) make the A08L the perfect electric wheelchair for outdoor use — even on uneven terrain. It can be equipped with up to three batteries, providing a range of up to 45 km, ideal for day trips, travel, and everyday mobility. Additionally, the A08L can be fitted with a trailer to increase storage capacity. Since the electric wheelchair is foldable, it is especially travel-friendly.

Numerous additional features can be installed on the electric wheelchair, including a headrest, cup holder, trailer, split and flip-up footrests, colored cushions/pads, care control, extra batteries, armrest bags, travel bag, electric standing aid, and the Arnie Travelhero system.

Target audience
The target group for the FreedomChair is very large. Typically, it includes people with mobility impairments who want to maintain or regain their quality of life and independence. Another target group consists of MS patients, who, due to their condition, often have varying levels of mobility and stamina—better on some days, less so on others. People with multiple disabilities or spinal cord injuries generally do not belong to our primary target group. However, we do have customers from this segment who purchase a FreedomChair as a second or even third device for outings, vacations, or travel, in order to remain mobile.
