The Contrast School System is an advanced two-camera screen reading device specifically designed for flexible and ergonomic use in schools. It combines a near camera with a powerful distance camera in a single system, allowing students with visual impairments to easily switch between the board view, worksheets, and computer content. A customizable split-screen feature enables all three contents to be displayed simultaneously on one monitor—without complicated software installations.
The near camera delivers razor-sharp images with magnification ranging from 1.5× to 85×, making it ideal for books, notebooks, or craft projects. The distance camera offers up to 240× magnification, allowing clear recognition of distant content such as blackboard writings or presentations. A key highlight is the system’s modular design: the XY table and camera units can be flexibly adjusted or removed, enabling optimal workspace setup.
Thanks to separate controls—a joystick for the distance camera and a control panel for the near camera—simple and intuitive operation is possible, even for children. Three individually programmable camera positions provide added convenience. The glare-free, low-shadow lighting system and the large working area under the camera ensure comfortable use.
